Chapter 1, Round 4! And some insight!

Three days into my rewrite and I am a bit more than halfway through Chapter 1! My progress has been slow due to personal commitments, however I am trying to complete one chapter a week.

For anyone who is new to writing or has ideas that need to be released; just sit down, open your computer or pick up that pen and paper and write. Your first draft doesn't have to be publishable, use correct grammar, or even follow a linear plot. Just get your ideas on paper and the rest can follow. The best advice I ever got is just write and the details can be worked out later.

Writing the first 1,000 words can seem arduous at first. But once you hit that, the next 1,000 are easier. It doesn't matter the genre, how many words you write, or the quality. All that matters is that you do it.
