Characters

Some feedback I got from my beta readers was the dearth of character diversity. As I was going through notes and comments throughout the story, I realized that my main characters only interacted with about a dozen different people as the story progressed. Hopefully my editing will diversify the cast. So far, I have added nearly a dozen new characters, many of them minor, to give more interaction.

It has been a lot of fun to make new names (thank goodness for the Internet), give them a bit of dimension, and beef up my story line. I have actually added two characters that will play larger roles in the sequels (if all goes as planned)!

As I work through my drafts and see the finish line getting closer, I am getting more excited! This has been a lot of work, and a lot of fun! Thank you all for sticking with me and being patient as I work through my drafts and prepare for publishing!
